New Jaguar C-X16 Concept

yeah but on the production models its like 6 inches of leather and the rest carpet ! not floor to edge leather.

Theres no such thing as 'no leather' Jags.

Not quite what i meant. Just that the use of alcantara / leather won't be nearly as extensive.

Why would the leather be optional? the XKR etc are leather all round with minimal plastic!

I'll eat my hat if Jag make that centre column plastic in the road car as standard.

I agree, I have a total leather covered dash top in my XF. That interior with black leather and contrast stitching in red or ivory will look great.

Well technically there will be more leather than that picture. The centre console strut will be leather trimmed... I imagine..... for production entry trim level and so the leather content goes up. Same with the steering wheel.

XK will pretty much cover what customers could expect from the trim.

They're right about one thing though - a lot of you you guys were like flies around **** with DM.

Quite a few previously respected members here very quickly turned into prize cocksuckers.

I spoke my mind and others inc Robbo did - other than about 5 or 6 people no-one stoof up to the muppett.

Sad. :(

He (or who ever he was pretending to be) was a likable character, the most likable I've come across in my time by far. I think the "wealth" had very little to do with people liking him.

Sorry, I don't buy it. Imo you were up his backside.

Not for any other reason than I liked him, certainly not because of his "wealth". Go look at all the threads where he announces the next car he was getting. Very rarely did I post in those threads but they didn't 'impress' or interest me much.

I was definitely guilty of this but ivory towers are wonderful places :)

But I liked the guy, had perpetual drunken convos with him when my life was taking a downward spiral; Mark did a very good job of diluting the crap I was going through. Whatever he is/was I couldn't care less I consider him (rightly or wrongly) a mate, same as I do with plenty of people here.

Do I care how I'm perceived by the majority of posters here that I've never met? no, the people on this forum I consider friends I've spoken to about this subject at length, not to justify my position but to merely to explain it.

and now I've done the same here in a concise public post
