I ordered a Crucial M4 128gb SSD at 3.30pm yesterday from Overclockers and the courier was banging on the door at work at 8.45 this morning :D

.......so straight to the internetz !!!!111

My record so far is from a competitor 10 years ago at uni, I ordered some creative speakers at 5pm and they were already delivered by the time I woke up at 10am :D

That is not amazing that is inline with my expectations, another site offers ordering up-to 11pm for next day delivery.
 
Normal delivery is around 2-3 days for most companies, so 17 hours is pretty quick :)

Worst delivery, I waited a week and then found out some ****er had signed and stolen it :(
Unless they were building a phase-cooler they stole a load of useless parts lol

2-3 days for most companies my eye , i cant remember the last thing i ordered before around 3pm that didnt come the next day ... its called "next day delivery" for a reason

True, first off I didn't think I'd even ordered before the cut off time. Then I would have expected it later in the afternoon once they emailed me at 4.30pm to say it had been dispatched and only then I realised it was free next day.

Cut off time for most places is usually around 5:30. I think there is 1 competitor that has a cut off time of something silly like 8PM for despatch depending on your location.
 
Fastest I remember was when I ordered my Z-5500's from a competitor. Ordered at about 0930 and a courier was knocking on my door at 1400 the same day.

Granted I live less than 30mins drive away so they just used a local door to door firm to do it.
 
Thats is good, but I think it will be hard to beat this -

Back when Orange first came out I joined up and had one of their Motorola phones. I managed to break it one night by snapping the (full size) SIM card inside it. Don't ask me how, but I did. I called them at around 10pm at night, only to be apologised to that they could not get a replacement to me till between 1 & 2 the following day.

Got home at about midnight and at 12:45 am I got a knock on the door. Some chaps in a car had turned up with a new phone! I just signed and gave him the broken one.

Less than three hours. :cool:
