The way I see it is I'm not relying so much on straight up right clicking dps with Ezreal. His Q scales 1:1 with AD so bloodthirster is obvious choice for me along with early sheen giving you even more dps when you are in a straight up skirmish.

His strength is in awesome ability to poke and weaken enemies before you dive in so making his Q spell as strong as possible is the main aim.

Will have to try a standard carry build with IE + phantom dancer at some point just to see what it's like in comparison though :)

So to get the most damage on your q its makes sense to go bloodthirster + IE,
like E into range then Q followed by W+ auto then Q then auto.
 
Too many people have been online of late!! I come on, see about 20 peoples worth of games in progress so i go and sit in ready to join and dual game with some deus ex... have a look at lol a bit later and there are now 30 people playing! people need to save me a slot and come and ask me to play ;) ;)

On a plus note I joined a game and I saw a guy I'd randomly played with before, I made comment on it and he said he already warned his team to focus me first as I'm good, was my 2nd time on Sion and everyone at the end of the game was like GG Sion lol, the guy was like "See I told you to watch out for him" - I played him AD and what a beast he is AD!!!

yea AD is a beast i find it worst than tyrn by far if the enemy twam sion is good he can just charge around owning everyone especially when he utils, how long sions util lasts is almost a joke :D

the only thing that lets him down is the sucky attack speed as it takes a lot of items to get his attack speed up to a decent level

Its a difficult problem and where having on 5 people that can be in a game, seems a lot of people but ultimately it can be not enough :(

If I have a slot i'll always shoot an invite to people who are ingame and waiting or in the ready to join. If you're not in game i'd tend to assume you're not playing :(

Dammit, so I had my heart set on Gragas when I got enough IP, now I play a bunch of games with Galio and love him! Twice the IP cost :(
 
I feel your pain, I'm currently trying to buy the runes recommended for my Ashe to give her a reasonable edge, was happy as larry grabbing the first lot for 420 IP each, then I realised the next lot of 8/9 are over 800 each. and...it's taking some time!

Runes are a pain when you need a full set :( I've got a set for noc and nothing else, purely because I can't afford it.

Been having some real problems with Tryndamere recently. There seems to be a trend of stacking 2-3 phantom dancers an 1 or 2 IE and a couple of blood thirsters. Obviously that's an endgame list I noticed on the stats screen. Just can't see how you're supposed to combat someone that tanky, with his bloody annoying ultimate, on a melee when he can 3 shot you. I got yellow armour runes, even took a couple of armour items ingame instead of my usual DPS setup and it's just laughable how quickly I die.

Best thing to do is not get into a 1v1 with trynd as he's probably the best 1v1 when he's farmed/fed. The only other thing is for the team to nuke then cc him so he's not in the fight much. I tend to find forcing him to Endless Rage early then exhaust or just kiting him works best but he'll usually have killed one of your carries by this point. He's a frustrating champ but at the same time its easy to keep him out of the game early as he's so farm reliant and can be easily bullied before level 6.
 
Holy cow what a match I just had!

Picture says most of it really. Had Garen leave early and being a total gimp.

Backs to the wall for about 35minutes and the opposing team grabbing baron a total of 3 times! Still we defended very well and the team as a whole were great at team fights.

Nearly won it 50mins in when we managed to ace them but where we were so deep into our own base trying to defend we managed to push to their nexus with us taking turns to tank minions/towers but it wasn't to be. Thought we were going to lose it at the end when Jax got caught out but FINALLY managed to win it. Love these kind of games, always satisfying :)

Yeah, I guess. Cheers for the advice. Just unfortunate that anything below ranked matches is all single player stuff, nobody really does anything but aim for high KS. Oh well. L25 soon so I guess I don't have to worry about lack of teamplay too much longer.
 
Have to apologize to those I've played with recently, for the last week my head has not been in it and I've been doing stupid things. Have had a lot going on but should be back to my normal self soon :D

Had to format tonight so just need to re download LoL :)

hehe welll that's been my status for 18 months so don't worry about that :)

Played Galio tonight, he works well as support with 2 nice pokes. If I can get the trick of not dying then we're all be happier :)
