Thankfully I don't really come across situations and people like this and I am shocked by the level of venom shown over something as trivial as this based purely on what would seem racial hatred.
The stupidity he displayed on the other hand, doesn't surprise me.
And as much as I tend towards liberal views, someone like this really is a waste of oxygen.

It's quite amazing that anyone would feel strongly enough about a minimum order requirement to actually get in a taxi to abuse the people first hand, just trying to follow the thought process there (or lack of it) hurts my head - "no, I'm not standing for this minimum order level nonsense, I'm going to take myself along to the shop to insult them in person and cost myself more money in the processs while not getting any food out of it...". That's dedication to being an idiot above and beyond the call of duty. It's a bit of a pity if they didn't have CCTV though to help with any report to the police that could be made.
I'm no racist, but I do think all this "all racists are stupid" malarky is a bit narrow sighted. Not all racists are stupid, some are very intelligent.
This idea of all racists being stupid I think is just the blurring of the notion that racism is stupid as there is no need for it with that of the people who are racists actually being stupid.
On a side note, I think there's a bit of hypocrisy in someone being a racist but then happily eating the cuisine of the said race that they're targeting.Surely if you hate that race you'd want to disassociate yourself with every aspect of it's culture etc.

We had to put a complaint into a local taxi firm a couple of weeks ago.
I'd gone to pick one of my daughters up from work and she came out sobbing so I asked her what had happened.
They ring for taxi's for customers and the phone rang a few minutes later.
