In a way it is Repetitive the Side Missions but im just really balancing them too out by doing few side missions until feels repetitive then do the main, Try doing on Coop its better :P

Story - 2/10 It really is ****, people wanting a good narritive look elsewhere. Dire script coupled with poor cutscenes and under-developed characters. It starts off ok, but gets progressivly worse.

Gameplay - 8/10 It feels like a mash up of a lot of other games. Condemned type melee combat with Dead Rising 2 weapon customisation, Oblivion-esque quest system with Warcraft like character levelling/development(ie talent specs). There is a lot to do, the world is split up into sections which follow the various game 'Act's' these area's in themselves are pretty huge.

Online Play - 8/10 Online play is buggy, but thats not entirely the games fault, some fingers should be pointed at steam for this. The in game menu/voice chat and invitations systems are very poor indeed, joining a random game can sometimes also hinder the experience... BUT play it co-op with some friends (once you've overcome the issues above) then the game is hugely fun.

Graphics - 8/10 As a whole the graphics are decent. The world is very rich and for a game that is pretty open I reckon they've done a decent job with the environments. Go in close to some areas and there are plenty of flaws to be found, but for the most part you have to go looking for them. Characters look pretty decent, although models are reused somewhat, animations on the otherhand are abit poor.

Sound - 7/10 Weapons, Zombies and ambience sound pretty decent, the sound does an decent job at setting the atmosphere. Music is ok but if you played with it off you wouldn't really notice the difference. voice acting is ok, if the voice actors had a decent script it would be a lot better/more believable.


OVERALL - 7/10 The game is good and far exceeded my expectations. If you ditch the story and manage to overcome the games/steams current bugs then you get one hell of a co-op experience.

TL: DR - Great co-op game with friends, you owe it to yourself to play it with some buddies, just be aware it is abit buggy, but if you perservere you get a good experience.

Really enjoying the game so far, played about an hour or so but my Internet is down in my area till Tuesday and steam won't let me play it in offline mode which is really ******* me off!
 
Enjoying it, but finding a co-op game is such a hassle. On the list it only briefly shows people in the same chapter as me, a second later they disappear and replaced by everyone in chapter 1...

Now then, ive been reading this thread on me hols and now im thinking about snagging this game. However to get it to look good and run properly whats the jist? Is there a easy FAQ to follow somewhere?

All help appreciated.
 
OK, i'll get it tomorrow. Just have to find the best deal.

From the sounds of it, it is quite similar to Deus Ex HR in terms of having a hub and going off to do side quests, is that right?

(i haven't looked at this game at all)

If you're going to buy the game now then don't, Wait till has more patches/configuration tweaker and comes down in prices..
 
So I may nip up town tomoz which version should I buy PS3 or the Windows vision for my Macbook pro? Even if the 6750M 1Gb isn't the best GPU I'm sure it still better look better than the PS3 version. I have the MBP connected to the TV so I can still sit on the sofa like console gamers. I hear that the game feels like it was designed ti be played on a controller though. I may get it from game as there's extra content if you buy it from there.
