As in, if some one mentions anything outside of the "official" record of it, you come out with "Idiots", "just CT nuts" and all of that.

not very often and not if someone wants. To actually debate, again read the big threads.
In some threads I will say that if there is no discussion going on or there are no specifics to discuss.
If people open up and post what they believe then I will go find the info and post detailed posts. But I'm not going to do that when there are no points or discussion.

Alternative thread title : "Let me show you how my lack of critical thinking doesn't stop me posting garbage."

Hopefully magick will be along shortly to lighten the mood with a hilarious reinterpretation of events, possibly involving lizard men.

I'm still not convinced people actually really genuinely do believe in Lizard men.

It's the way facts were presented and handled that created so many conspiracies around 9/11. There are practically no conspiracies around July 7th, and that's mostly due to the fact no one tried to do anything stupid on the back of it, whitewash it and classify stuff in knee jerk reaction around it.

Americans do it every single time, and just don't learn.

Unfortunately there are a fair number of 7th July conspiracies out there too. Just less brits than americans so less people to care enough to make stuff up.

If the Bush administration were so duplicitous as to orchestrate the events on 9-11 then why didn't they conjure up some weapons of mass destruction in the Iraqi desert ?

Conspiracy theories are the new religion and the majority of people that believe in them cannot handle the real world.

It all stems from the Kennedy assassination where there really was a conspiracy but these days you only have to hear a Fart and its a bleeding conspiracy.

Also don't forget that people like Alex Jones and David Icke have agenders too IE making money.

I find it fairly offensive, to be honest. It strikes me as incredibly disrespectful to those that died.

I find it offensive that we kill 33 times more people (Iraq only, not even sure how many have been killed in the region) and not a toss was given.

So what if they have their own theories, its in our society to allow them to voice it.

"We" didn't. Mostly it was Iraqis killing Iraqis, we just let them do it to each other. I will also think you will find that an awful lot of people did give a damn, just no one that matters.

Whilst they do indeed have the right to voice their drivel we also have the right to call it as such.

Just making it apparent is all.

You're doing that thing where you assume that because someone finds one thing offensive, they don't find something else offensive, like there is only so much offence that a person can take.

Which is dumb, yo.

Ever since watching season one of heroes, both on bbc three one week, then bbc two the next, and later on blu-ray in amazing 1080p, I believe that people are out to destroy new york in an attempt to bind the american public together. Watching Source code last night re-affirmed this belief, I now also believe the US airforce has an understanding of quantum mechanics far beyond all other scientific establishments.

Watching Malcolm McDowell revive a plant without touching it made me believe anything and everything he says, and he said that destroying new york would be acceptable as it would only kill 0.3% of the population. Having being told this three times, I believe that others will have thought this way in the past.

Therefore, I believe 9/11 was an act of devotion to the american public by Lord Bush.

I find it confusing how conspiracy theorists can make people so mad.

"Grrrr, complete NUTJOBS dare to question the status quo? HOW DARE THEY. TINFOIL HAT TINFOIL HAT REPTILIANS NUTJOBS GRRRRRRR."

Some of you sound nuttier and madder than the conspiracy theorists you're whining about.

I think it's more the fact that many of us has pointed out the obvious flaws in the conspiracy theories (often to the same people) repeatedly, only for them to ignore it and start another thread a day or two later.
