I tend to stick with either Calibri or Arial, depending on my mood.

Hate comic sans with a passion and want to brutally murder anyone who uses it.

Futura's quite good also.

The thing with fonts though is that you have to consider anti-aliasing. For some (who are probably right), AA is just a way of making a bad font look usable. A good font won't need it.
