New Car - Volvo

Almost the same as mine except mine is Sport Spec meaning it has Half Leather instead of full leather.

Have you found how comically boat like the turning circle is yet ? :D

I had a drive of a.volvo R the 300bhp one. That was the most relaxed drive i've ever had, think it avg 24mpg with some spirited driving.

Jealous, wish I could afford the running costs of a T5!

Running costs aren't half bad - overall my S40 has worked out a little cheaper to run than my old A4. I've averaged 35mpg and can easily get 45 on a long run. Parts are middle of the road but rarely needed, and it's fairly easy to work on yourself. I did find insurance to be relatively expensive and it's tax band K, but neither is astronomical.

Turning cicle is terrible and the wheels can rub the inside of the arches sometimes depending on wheel size etc.

Great car, although I only had my s60r just over a month, it was a great car for the money. I was averaging 19mpg in it though whereas the 335i with the same power is doign 30mpg on average!

The problem is, I do mostly urban driving. It's not completely stop start; on my work commute I can usually do the whole thing without stopping aside from one or two roundabouts.

35mpg is higher than I was getting out of a 1.6 automatic Focus with 100bhp :o

Mine is sport spec with half leather, it's hard to tell from the pics because the non-leather part is the same colour.

Turning circle is a pain especially in car parks :p

Love the engine noise/power and how comfortable it is.

did wonder how it ended up without the chrome rub strips and with the spoiler.

Like the beige interior. Lot nicer than the black one in mine.

Considering getting a private plate.

I like the prefix 'S60' but the only 3 letter combination I can find to go with that is OMG.

So I had a look for my initials which is fine, but it means having something random at the front i.e. N22 or P22.

So I can't really decide, S60 looks pretty good and will of course stay with the car. My initials would stay with me but not look as good.

Code:
S60 OMG
OR
Code:
P22 MSM

Both £255 from DVLA.

Has to be the S60 one because thats one of the only times when having several numbers isnt pointless. Private plates should be as short as possible. Nobody knows your initials anyway :p

MrLOL, have you thought about tunning your T5? I'm thinking of starting to put some money aside for a stage 1 (remap and cat back) which should easily see 300bhp and 295ft lbs.
