This has made the game look quite a bit better, cheers dude, My GPU was doing some weird gamma adjustment, I opened ati CCC and when I clicked on display colour a message popped up saying another program had altered settings and did I want to set control back to CCC, after doing that it looks so much better, it's weird that I haven't noticed it in other games, as soon as I clicked it everything looked so much better, even web browsing etc

Couple of annoying issues;

1) I can't seem to map my 5th mouse button

2) The mouse seems incredibly slow in the menu

Other than that, finished the story as the blunt guy last night, great game. For anyone who likes L4D or Dead Rising, it's a must buy in my eyes.
 
Loving the game but it's being spoiled for me by dodgy interior lighting.

You can walk into a pool of light and instead of a shadow being cast, the light just disappears. This happens to light coming from windows and electric light sources. The actual light doesn't seem to interact with the player.

Anybody else finding this?

  • Remove stuttering / jerkiness caused by repeated keystrokes… without using Filter Keys
  • Fixes sluggish mouse in menus
  • Disable / enable SSAO shader for increased performance on some configurations (NVIDIA only)
  • Disable / enable motion blur, as some people just don’t like it
  • NEW in v1.1: Disable / enable bloom and weapon refraction

  • Added an option to enable vertical syncronization
  • Added an option to disable dust
  • Added an option to disable the desaturation effect
  • Disabling bloom and weapon refraction now affects front30.ppfx and indoor30.ppfx
 
Tool is cool but I am not touching anything till the VAC ramifications are well known/officially commented on. Got too much on my Steam account to risk a VAC ban for some little tweaks.

Exactly this.

I know I love the game but leaving it for now until they patch it.

I have Crysis 2 and Deus Ex HR to complete until then.
