They look the same, Sound the same and are the biggest annoyance on the phone including cold calling. It took me a long time to start being friendly with indians/pakis after what happened with BT and BT india.

I believe Anuraaj is either indian or pakistani, unsure but he's a really decent little fellow, it's the way it is though a select number gives everyone else a bad name

How would you feel if someone refused to be friendly towards you because of your autism, because they met some autistic people who annoyed them?

How would you feel if they started calling you a spergy as well? It's very hard to take you seriously when you keep saying ****, while claiming not to be racist.

What are you on about? You think it's an insult because I mentioned autism? Maybe you should think about it properly? He's judging people on their race essentially. It's highly idiotic to be funny about Indian and Pakistani people because of a call centre. Are you really blind to the parallels of that, and some one judging him and being funny with him because of his autism? Autism is as personal to him, as being brown is to an Indian or Pakistani person.

That said I'm still trying to find out what colour hair and eyes Castiel and Freefaller have. We had to put a complaint into a local taxi firm a couple of weeks ago.
I'd gone to pick one of my daughters up from work and she came out sobbing so I asked her what had happened.
They ring for taxi's for customers and the phone rang a few minutes later.

We rang Lucky 7 and told them but I've no doubt nobody got told off however the Manager has stopped using Lucky 7 so they have lost a lot of business.

I paid Lucky 7 £60 a week taxi fare for 2 weeks, they have now lost my business too.

Had a taxi driver smoking in the car, lots of them don't wear seat belts, the driver went the wrong way and try charging me £2 more than my normal fare when I was spending £8 a day on taxis, I phoned up and they said the manager would call me back, they never so I am giving my money to another company.

If you are genuinely saying that this was your opinion in the past and that you find it ridiculous yourself now, then I apologise. But I didn't pick that up from your post. It sounded more like you were saying that it took you ages to even be nice to Indian/Pakistanis because you had some cold calls but that you met someone who turned out to be Asian/Portugese? and were effectively forced to accept you were wrong.

If you have truly changed your formerly ignorant views then I applaud you for that.

Lol "unfortunately" I belong to the brown hair/brown eyes brigade. My grandad was *gasp* an Italian IMMIGRANT. It is partially why racism winds me up so much, I have the same background as some people in terms of immigration history but because I haven't got dark skin I'm not racially abused.

The fact that you held that opinion at all is the problem. Would you have found it difficult to be friendly with British people had the call centre been located in Britain? No, you would have just placed your hatred on the company that used the call centre, thought nothing of the nationality or race of the person and got on with your life.

Instead, because you can tell the person is "different" and not British or White, you've placed your funny feelings of struggling to be friendly on a whole race of people. The fact that your opinion as changed "a lot" over the years doesn't some how make you justified in ever holding that opinion, it's a completely idiotic attitude to have towards other humans.
