Thanks to Mr Kreeee's generosity I'm all signed up so if any one else needs an invite send me a message through trust.
If any ones having problems signing up go to hidemyass.com and don't use the web proxy go to the page for free IP: proxies, filter the list for proxies in the USA and make a note of a normal http proxy (not the planetlabs ones), you'll need both the IP and port then go to your browser of choice and find the proxy settings under option and enter the ip and port and say to use for all protocols if the options there as part of the signup needs HTTPS.
That should get you through the sign up but I still had problems getting the android app as the market wouldn't let me have it so had to find it elsewhere.
