Hi Guys

Wanting to upgrade my mouse and was looking at this little guy but I have just read a horrific review on bit-tech regarding the wireless quality.

I'll look for some more reviews as maybe it was a problem with their sample or some driver issue, but what are your thoughts on it?

Other than the wireless issues is there anything else worth mentioning? any surfaces it doesn't like? Bare desk etc.

Hey guys, I have a G700, I have no problems at all with the wireless quality and there is a wireless router right under my desk.

Apparently Laser mice don't like some dark surfaces but i'm using my BoogieBug which the surface is black and my G700 has no issues at skipping at all. Seems to work completely fine on my bare wooden white desk as well which an optical mouse wont work there.

I had my G700 for about 2 weeks and i only can find one problem. Due to the mouse being a lithium rechargeable battery the power indicator (To tell you how much charge is left) Is quite inaccurate for me. It seems to be a common problem with the G700. It stays for the full 3 bars for the first 4-5 hours and then 2 bars for about 2 hours then a red bar for like 7-8 hours it seems for me. It could be the battery because I am still using the stock battery.

Other than that it is an excellent and very comfy mouse.

Hmmm Can you upgrade the battery/s easily?

Great mouse for me personally, had the old Logitech MX ones before and they were great but this feels sturdier. Im also using one of the Big Mats :)

In terms of battery, not sure. Mines been fine so far and had it pretty much since they were launched.

All in all its a great mouse and i've not looked back since ordering it :D

The battery is just one 1.2v Ni-MH type.
I use an eneloop batteries already charge as instant replacement as I find it more convenient to just change the battery than charge it up using its cable.
