forums incredibly slow for anyone else, or just me?

If I click on a link (any link) it's a 33% chance it will load straight away as normal, 33% chance it will half load and 33% chance there will be no response at all. Places like Youtube, Guardian etc all work fine so there's clearly some major issue with OCUK's ISP and mine (Talk Talk I think these days)

ah, we might be on to something here. i believe AOL is now talktalk, so perhaps theres a communication problem between them

no, its definitely a hamster. i checked and gerald is alive and well, so he's not the problem either

Been running slow for me for the past day or two. Pages not loading properly at times etc.

They've been dodgy on and off for a while, there have been a few occasions today where it's failed to load.

A couple of weeks back I was getting database errors etc... I'm sure the hamster just needs his inhaler.

I'm getting a steady 1.5 mb/s from Steam download though,which is normal.

Here also (with talktalk). As already said trying again in a few minutes resolves the problem.

The speed is usually so good here I've been suspecting my connection until I saw this thread.
