forums incredibly slow for anyone else, or just me?

But there are also people (including myself) that are experiencing slowness despite being with service providers other than TalkTalk...
 
Yes, the forum is bugged for me again when I tether on 3G.

It works fine on my phone, and everthing else works great while tethered:

I'm on Pipex (yup, TalkTalk) and the forums and main site have been slow for the past few days, almost impossible to get on the forums today, this thread took a long time too. I wonder what's going on, no other UK sites are loading slowly like this.
 
I have a very very old Pipex account you know when they were good - but now **** **** have taken totally over I have big issues for a several days here on the forum also most of the time I can not access overclocker's shop,so they have couple of more days to sort stuff out or I am off just about had all i can take from them :(

Also screwfix is buggered which I use regularly.
 
I had some issues earlier tonight with threads not loading propeprly but all seems good now and besides that one issue everything else has been fine and dandy

I've posted on their support forums, they are usually pretty quick to reply on there so maybe we'll get something from them later on.
 
are these forums slow for anybody else?

Over the past week or so these forums seem to take ages to load up for me. Sometimes A page doesn't even load properly so I have to refresh.
Anybody else having similar problems? I haven't got this with any other website :confused:
 
I'm having this problem, for about the same amount of time. What ISP are you with? I'm with virgin media 50mb.
 
I get the occasional problem at work, but I never know if it's this forum or our useless internet here.
 
Yeah, it's like the occasional packet being lost on the ocuk network.

Either dodgy compression, server settings or a noob sys admin to blame.

Mind you, if you've also noticed it then you're spending WAY too much time on these forums ;)
