Didn't see a thread about the amusing programme so I decided to make one!

Who watches it, and what do you think of season 4?

I'm a bit confused by people dying left, right and center! They have almost nuked the entire season 4 cast, latest episode has killed off 3 more... :p

I'm curious to see what they are gearing up for, or whether season 4 will be the final?
 
Season 1-3 on dvd i enhoyed the first 2 but then it turned pretty homo and it kinda put me off. Still going to get season 4 as its getting pretty good but the homo needs to stop really.

I wasn't aware Breaking bad and a multitude of others in the sub forum had either? :)

Also yes, the actual showing of the gay content is a bit OTT, the entire series so far is most definitely the most weird to date.
 
I enjoyed series four, (spoiler) Marnie and the vampire/witch battles.

But yes, it finished last night in Usa.

Roll on series five!!!

Best series so far imo. Finished it tonight.

Although Marni's face started to really annoy me. Irritating bat.

This and Breaking Bad have had sublime season 4's.

Next up is Dexter season 6.
 
I dunno what to think about the season. The start was just a ridiculously elaborate way of pushing the plot forwards by a year without having to explain anything. The whole necromancy thing was pretty good. The dream sequences really started to get annoying though. It did feel like they were fleshing out 9-10 episodes of content into 12 episodes some times.
 
Yup finished watching the last episode earlier on, loved it :D

But then, I am a massive fan of true blood! :D


There will be a season 5, rumours are that it is to do with demons and/or Russell.

What a final episode it was as well:

Russell freed! Who freed him (was it nan, rev noolen, pam or debbie) or did he break out himself due to Marnies spell to make vamps walk into sunlight?

Rev Noolen turned to a vamp! By who?

Is Tara really dead for good or she going to be saved by Eric or Bill?

Can't wait for season 5!

Plus I wouldn't say that those 3 people who died were that important really any way.

I watched series 1 & 2 when they were first out and then never heard anything since last week when I saw them on a torrent site :(

So I've now got to watch all of series 3 & 4

There was a thread around here, but have seem to have lost it.

Season 4 started off weak, but the final few episodes more than made up for it. The finale was absolutely brilliant!

Still prefer season 3 and the Godrick story arc.

One thing is for sure, Season 5 should be VERY good!
 
S4 lost the plot for me, everyone under the sun gaining a special power in some form or another was just to extreme.

There are some good moments of course, but for the most part its like a 5year olds story telling. (X is really powerfull but now Y has magically gained powers out of thin air and can now crush X, but wait here comes Z with even more powers...)


I'll still watch S5 as its still better than 90% of current tv programmes out there :p
 
Problem with S4 was that they seemed to start random threads without any indication as to whether they were important or going to be continued.

The whole fairy world thing at the start turned into absolutely nothing. A fairy popped up a couple of times during the season but for no apparent reason. Finale didn't come back to it either.
The entire Werepanther thing amounted to absolutely nothing and then got completely forgotton.
 
Worst season of true blood so far imo, started few ideas and then just left them, Good cliffhanger though which ill give it credit for.

Ill still watch Season 5 but it better improve and follow a path which 4 just didnt do.
 
I only watched this as hadn't seen any of the previous series. Thought it was alright and made me contemplate catching up on all the others
