Coolio, but as others have said, you may want to smudge out your name and address as you know what some people are like on here, will do anything for their next hit of graphics power xD

No not yet, was arguing with OCUK about my deux ex freebie games. Now I got the code I@ll have a whirl of it tomorrow night....consumer pressure WIN :p

Anyway it'll involve removal of the great 460 card, removal of Nvidia drivers and AMD drivers installed and I'll take it from there.

Praying that the VTX 6870's work [pray] please please please [/pray]

noted, thanks for the heads up. Never used multi cards before, anything else I need to know?

BTW which card do I plug my monitor into?

Also what are good games to do bench marks or should I use a synthetic prog to bench? I'd like to bench the 460 then do the same for the xfire 6870s to compare

Plug the hdmi cable into the primary card i.e. the one on top.

I used heaven benchmark and 3dmark11

After i installed my cards + crossfire bridge, I installed steam which then proceeded to install latest video card drivers, i checked that crossfire x was enabled in CCC. Then i installed latest CAPs from AMD. http://www.rage3d.com/cap/

Crossfire has been cracking so far, fantastic performance, my hawk 6870s run quite cool and quiet, only game that has taken one card to 70C was arma 2 on fully maxed out settings.
