Anyone tried the first track A01? Want to try and beat the world number 1 time!
Its great cause you get to see a ghost replay of any driver you select. Quite good

Getting some bad lag/jerk on the game, did the crossfire fix but didn't make a difference. Some maps are worse than others.. anyone else get that?

Yeah, im getting it here.
Ive done the Nadeo TM2 benchmarks, ATi CCC settings as default, and ensured that v-sync isnt enabled, and the results came back as
V.Fast - 60fps
Fast - 60fps
Nice - 59fps
V.Nice - 58fps
All had some unpleasant stutter while watching them too, and i ran the test 4-5 times as well.

Using MSI Afterburner i can see my GPUs using only 25%-85% depending on which of those 4 i use, so its definitely being capped by something. Coupled with the fact that im getting stuttering which is often unplayable with a precision based game like this. I'll go through a tunnel and the frames just plummet to mid-30s and its jerky as hell.
CPU only uses 1 core, and flickers anywhere between 30-60% usage (just on that 1 core). So theres no hardware bottleneck, something else is stopping it. I only installed W7 yesterday morning, so there cant be that many things influencing the system.
Tomorrow i'll try disabling crossfire and see if i get a performance gain, i was getting better frames before it went 'retail', and 50fps on a single 5770 during beta :mad:

ALERT! TrackMania series: CPU/GPU sync causes performance abnormal w/ low usage GPU

I got only no more than 70% GPU usage at high resolution screen. I changed from "immediate" to "none" on «CPU/GPU synchro»* for improve (+/- 2x) performance to back to normal. Now I got 99% GPU usage at same resolution!!

1680x1050. i7 920. HD6950 with unlock shader.
Very fast - 402 fps
Fast - 150 fps
Nice - 134 fps
Very Nice - 69 fps

Will probably go for Nice as I like my fps to never go anywhere near 60.

Was playing this server yesterday evening and had some good fun (im ins1337).

Only suggestions would be increasing the time to 6mins or so as suggested above - and also putting some shorter maps on i.e. 30-45seconds rather than 60-80.

Time was increased last night to 8 mins,

Gimpy was working on it around 11:45PM and required a restart,

Should be up to 8 mins today when you connect
