Convince me to buy a Civic Type R (EP3)!

Where-as I've just done a 300mile trip in my DC5 today and aside from slight ringing in my ears immediately after the journey (road noise :p), it was fine for 2.5hr stints :) I would image the EP3 would be the same.

Ep3. Loads. Loads crashed. High premium.
Dc2. Notts many, some crashed, lower premium.

FYI I drove 500 straight to Abz (x1 10 stop) in my vantegra and it was fine, no really! Arse hurt but recaros are tight on my thick thighs. Perfectly fine on a cruise.
 
My arse hurts after 160 miles in the 306 :p

Decisions Decisions.. and as you can tell I'm not rushing this one. I'm finding it hard to find well priced clean examples though!

You talk about old French in the same breath as a dc2. I vote ban :D

I do 5k a year, short commutes, long drives sometimes and long hoons. Plus I have polybushes and coilovers. A standard dc2 suspension feels like an s500 to me and is actually very comfy! And I've driven many s500s.
 
Tbh muffin that's a bit of a scam IMO. I was looking at that car this evening, Trawled back through his posts and found ones from him referring to him 'Waiting to get the car back from the police'

Then found a thread where the car is modified to hell and back, and now he's stuck it back to that?!

There's also another thread about the car getting 'Shunted from behind' ..it just gets better!

Far too many messed with examples out there :( , Stick a Gruppe M or Tegiwa Intake on it, and mess with the exhaust then leave it at that!!
 
Nice, have you spoke to them? could easily get a test drive on that being a dealer.

It does seem cheaply priced for a dealer which is worrying me slightly, all shall be revealed tommorow hopefully! *fingers crossed*
 
It is indeed, only up the road, so it would be rude not to!

I'd just got fo it, I remember taking a Vectra VXR out, wheel spinning out of the dealership :D:D
 
I took a EP3 out and gave it the beans, It's what these cars are about. How do you know you will like it in the fun revs if you don't try it? Dealer just clung on a smiled when I took one out.
