sky are worse than the bbc they are acting like the rebel propaganda tv station..

i still remember when they were going on about all dead corpses around a make shift hospital in the grounds of the tripoli fortress thing , they were saying how it must have been people killed by the pro gaddafi forces lol yet they went on to mention one of the corpses still had an Intravenous drip inserted in its arm..

which suggests it was more likely dead gaffafi forces murdered by the rebels as why would gaddafi be treating the "rats" as he calls them

Nice to see we are securing our interests. :D

This is quite interesting.

As the world continues to wonder just where Gadhafi is hiding, things in Libya aren’t looking very promising considering Libyan rebel leader, Islamist Abdel Hakim Belhaj, is a founding member of an international terrorist organization listed by the U.S. State Department. From the Daily Beast:

Belhaj is a founding member and former leader of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG), which is listed by both the U.S. State Department and the British Home Office as an international terrorist organization. Several past or present LIFG members have held prominent positions in al Qaeda, including operations chief Atiyah Abd al-Rahman, who was recently killed in a CIA drone attack. The LIFG is hardly Libya’s only militant Islamist force, but it’s easily the biggest and very possibly the most dangerous.

Oh dear.

Read this instead:

It's less sensationalist than your link

British intelligence and security service interest in Libya has focused for 20 years on the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG), whether it was opposing Muammar Gaddafi and working with al-Qaida, later renouncing its old jihadi worldview

the LIFG produced a 400-page theological document entitled Corrective Studies explaining its renunciation of violence.

Just seems that the US and UK terrorist org list needs updating and you're trying to make something out of nothing.

i guess the roles are reversed now the rebels have surounded sirte with artillery and tanks but nato is talking about lifting the no fly zone and obviously doesnt care about citizens aslong as they suport gaddafi...

nice to see the national terrorist council talking about sharia law aswell great news for democracy

I remember Osbourne saying this conflict would cost "Tens of millions, not hundreds of millions"

Latest estimates today puts the cost at between £850 million and £1.75 billion...

I hope he is better with his figures in his budgets.....oh, wait....

We already had oil deals... this campaign has done more harm than good oil wise given the massive price increases and lack of supply and the fact we had plenty of contracts which would have been maintained had we done nothing..

The deals are a lot easier to renegotiate when you install a puppet government though.

Ok, seriously, im lost now, between all the anti Gaddafi propaganda we are being spoon fed and the anti NATO propaganda coming out of Libya the must be some truth but I just cant tell what's what any more :(

The rebels claim they have 80% of the country yet they obviously have much less than that and they claim everything is going fine with their siege of Sirte yet we have seen videos of armoured columns of loyalist troops/tanks rolling into Sirte to back up the loyalist fighters there, this civil war is clearly far from over despite what our media tell us yet its so hard to find out what is actually happening :S

the NTC have no actual control over the country...
Well that didn't take long. The despotic lid of Gaddafi's dictatorship is lifted and the pot quickly starts to simmer.

Given that the NTC is failing to grip the country others are muscling in with their version of what the new Libya's identity should look like.

Islamic hard-liners have attacked half a dozen shrines in the Tunis area belonging to a Muslim sect they regard as practicing 'Black magic'.

The targets were Sufis, a mystical order which puts faith in contemplation, chanting, and is one of the more 'liberal' wings of Islamic belief.

the sad thing is there seemed to be more media freedom when gaddafi was in control.....

theres no reports because the NTC arent allowing the free movement of media and the media only heres what they are told which is the usual

we know where gaddafi is , hes in this town were 100% certain... how many times have we heard this? it gets nato to bomb te hell out of the towns though

whats the other one? we have 90% control over town XXX the battle is going well, then a few hours later you will hear about the rebel reteat because of snipers
they are absolutely useless and the country is left lawless ,once nato leaves for good the islamic hardliners are going to terrorise the country and take it over the same people the american and british special forces have been helping.

oh btw how come the news sites dont report on certain videos a website is hosting? these ones
Libyan rebels behead Libyan Soldier
Libyan Rebels stealing weapons from dead Libyans Soldiers
CIA fighting alongside rebels
Libyan Rebels Sodimize Libyan Soldier with Weapons
Libyan protestors and Rebels hang and behead soldier
Libyan Rebels Force Libyan Soldiers to Cannibalize
Libyan Rebels Torture Small Child by Sticking a Pole Through His Body

were constantly told its the loyalists doing this type of thing but thats not what the videos are showing us.....
