Brit Abused Kelis at Airport

Who is she? Never heard of her?

Apparently her Milkshake brings all the boys to the yard, and apparently, they like.

Her twitter followers are seriously blind, now I see why they're called followers.

I wonder as an Orient, if I next see her and she cuts my queue and I call her a foreign plonker, will she play the race card and damn all Chinese people as rude bigots? Tempting...

I'm glad I have no idea who this is.

What's with the headline though?

"Kelis 'racially abused' at by a British man in Spain"

Is it even possible to racially abuse at someone?

lol Kelis isn't even black! She is mixed race...

Maybe that's why she thought she's got the right to invoke the use of 'pink face British', because if Afro origins can throw racial stereophrases at each other, she is half entitled to throw one at her colonial pink faced abuser to a public audience of over 1 million?

She sounds like a right snob.

How do we brush racism under the carpet?

What evidence do you have of that?

Stupid woman.

I think it's her father that is white, dunno where he was from though...

EDIT: Got it all wrong, her mother is half-Chinese, half Porto Rican

Another washed up, irritating, brainless, R&B "singer" making a big kerfuffle about something which clearly never even happened in order to get publicity for her upcoming tour.

I, for one, am shocked.

The UK is decades behind? Really? Hmm...

exactly...

I think we can presume that Kelis doesn't really know what she's talking about.

I'd also suspect that the incident didn't exactly happen as described...

Frankly the UK is home to the most cosmopolitan city on the planet and has more mixed race marriages than anywhere else in the world.

This isn't the place where black folk weren't allowed seats on buses or had to use different water fountains, were banned from restaurants etc...

Black US GIs coming over to the UK during WW2 were surprised to find out that there weren't such restrictions in place in the UK - they could actually sit down on the bus and people were friendly to them....

I'd wager Kelis blatantly had a diva moment, got called out on it and decided to play the race card....
