After a year and a half and over 300 hours of gaming awesomness I cant help but feel a little sad that Bad Company 2 has just one month before its replaced by BF3, obviously people will still play it, servers will still run it but it will never be the same again

Thanks to Dice for providing such amazing gaming moments and the M14 Mod Enhanced, probably the most satisfying weapon I've ever used in a game

Whats your favourite BC2 weapon and can you think of any particulary moments that stand out whilst playing bad company 2? I'll always remember a buggy trying to run me over, hitting a land mine, exploding and back flipping toward me just as I move out of its way and watch it fly past me :D
 
I got my ran 50 yesterday which has pleased me as I wanted to get it before BF3.

Favourite weapon by FAR is the UMP-45. Platinumed it twice and was very happy it was the Specact engi weapon so I could do it again. :D

For all it's flaws, it is an amazing game.

My favourite moments have been the regular marking of shoppers from distance then blowing them up with the RPG. 4 kills in one shot using the 870 shotty was pretty epic as well.
 
No specific moments stand out for me. I love the massive battles though, when you're trying to run from building to building and everything blowing up and you can hear bullets whizzing past. No other game has given me that same sense of chaos and atmosphere. :)
 
it is a shame, I just hope the good bits show up in BF3

bc2 was the best online shooter since BF2 for me

SAW was my most used weapon, so good for attacking in rush can clear a room of people if you get it right

best moments are those frantic ones where you:
plant charge on mcom
shoot the first guy with rifle
shoot second guy with rifle
switch to 40mm and take out third guy
switch to pistol and get the forth
stab last guy just as the MCOM blows up!
 
It was a good game, but I hope that the problems with lag, hitreg, crashing, connection issues, weapon balance and graphics gliches have been eliminated in BF3.
 
I played multiplayer for few hours, didn't like it, gave up on it.

The movement felt very wooden and restrictive (no strafe left or right)

Won't miss it;)


On the other hand BF3 alpha was amazing :)
 
So awesome but haven't been able to play it since the BF3 Alpha it just felt lacking.

Most awesome moment was taking out a chopper pilot with a Spas-12 awwwwwwww yeah :cool:

Fav weapon was either the Spas with Slugs and Magnum ammo (shotgun sniper) or the M1 Garand. Oh and the knife :p
 
I think the first time I took out a chopper directly above me and watching it blow up into pieces and comes down around me was pretty special. I was like, WOW.
 
I've hardly played it to be honest but the moment that stands out for me (excuse the vague description, shows how much I play it) is when I was left with just a pistol, saw an enemy on the other side of a city, fired once not expecting to hit anything and ended up killing him with a perfect headshot.

He didn't seem to care/notice but I thought I'd make a quick exit just incase :p
 
Have not loaded this up in a good while but had some fantastic games. Still not reached lvl50 (lvl 42 i think)

Weapon-wise for me i stuck with these
Assault = XM8 / M416
Medic = XM8 LMG / MG36
Engineer = UMP / AK47u
Recon = GOL / M24

But best weapon overall had to be the GOL, for those times when you are tired of putting massive amounts of ammo into ppl cos of the hirrible hitboxes :/
