Fair well Bad Company 2

Fired it up again last night after reading this thread.

Was driving towards a CP, aimed for the back of the barn. Jumped out of the bugger and it carried on, eventually raming a gas container, blowing up and taking whole back of the barn with it.
I then strode through the new "door" like Arnold ****ing Schwarzenegger having a bad day :cool:

And yes it was a complete fluke, I didn't even see the container until it exploded :p
 
In order had to be #1 Carl Gustav sorry to all the haters but i just LOVE the feeling i get killing two people in a roof/behind a wall with this, closely followed by #2 UMP then coming a very close #3 is MG36 !!

you can kinda tell from that what i thought of bc2. HINT: a big steaming pile of **** and yes BF3 will be a lot different from BC2 bc it will be more like BF2 and thats a massive positive...if its anything like bc2 i will probably commit suicide together with my 5 friends who have all got a custom pc on order just to play the game again like we did with bf2 at uni (back in the day)

If i hated something that much I wouldn't have wasted 80hrs of my life on it.
 
How can you hate a game so much, yet still play 80hours worth of it?

If I play a game and I don't like it, it gets uninstalled and sold never to be played again!
 
Favourite Weapon: M14 (with RD), being able to snipe across maps without drop was fun.

Best moments: Any-time I managed to pull off something a bit badass, flying a C4'd Quad Bike into a tank, taking it out and living, any-time I took out a bunch of guys with the pistol / knife. Essentially the rare moments I actually felt half decent at the game.

I just hope BF3 will run well on my laptop, thankfully the Beta will be open.
 
Taking out 'that guy' that always gets the heli with a UAVs machine gun is a highlight for me simply because its a proper David vs Goliath moment. That and I hate people who sit on the vehicle spawn for 20 minutes just to get the gunship.

Up yours Virgin Media! I just had the best game I've ever had on 1000 ticket heavy metal, was 2000 point ahead of everyone, 100 tickets left to go... spent pretty much the whole game on foot, was a total 1 man army because my team were shocking, was running around taking out enemies and vehicles like Jesus...

Then my god damn network goes down how it likes to several times a day and I lost everything

I'm off to hang myself :D

I can't get a decent game on BC2 atm, Battlefield 3 is calming me though. CAn't see myself playing BC2 when BF3 comes out.

Tbh i think that BC2 was alright but was the best of a mediocre bunch really.
 
I don't think we will be saying goodbye to BC2 just yet. Not that i think the BF3 beta sucks, because i think it's gonna be a great game. But it just feels different, I think a have a few more hours on Oasis and Panama to come yet.
 
My strongest memory of this is not being able to connect to any servers for a whole month after release. Useless bunch of *******.

LOL I had this when I got it a few months back, found out I needed a patch, but game does not tell you that when you load the normal BC2 icon from desktop. Had to go into games folder to find the update launcher.
