Can anyone help with these abstract patterns?

Amazing score! How did you do so well on abstract and verbal? That's really good :cool:
 
It's so weird - VR was my strong point, followed by DA, followed by QR, followed by AR (which I HATED).

My actual results are back to front!
 
My two housemates got 605 and 690.

Someone in my class got 530, another 570, another 580. Lots around the 600-650 mark
 
Thanks! Hopefully it will secure me some interviews, then I could woo them with my charm and personality, and live happily ever after
 
At the moment, I'm struggling with my personal statement. It's really hard to cut it down, I'm around 2000 words over the limit, I think I'm just going to have to remove a couple of paragraphs

I've read a few medicine personal statements.

I'm sure you've done this but:

Have you gone straight into why you want to do medicine, this is important.

Cut down on personal sporting achievements. Don't tell fables/stories of what inspired you to want to do medicine.

Sometimes you have to leave stuff out, write down the important stuff like the experiences that have made a difference and where it shows more trust and responsibility.

Don't need more than a paragraph or two on hobbies/extra curricular activities.

Any experience that involves dealing with the public will help as well.

Yes, I've done all that. The problem is that what I've written on Work Experience and volunteering alone uses about 80% of the maximum number of characters. It's really hard choosing what to leave out and how to cut down on it. I'll get there eventually though

Yes, they were very nice on the phone, asked when I'd be available. It's sorted for Wednesday 16th November. Your kings interview must be approaching soon??

My housemate has applied for Kings, but not heard anything back yet!

I think at the moment, King's are interviewing people based on GCSEs, as Universities won't have received UKCAT scores yet.

My interview is in a week :eek: Not sure how to prepare, just thinking up answers to all the obvious questions and brushing up on my ethics.
