What are your bets for this weekend?

Usually, i can't do anything at the start of the season as i tend to pick teams that i just fancy as opposed to teams that i like the look of the odds for. I have been very lucky though. I actually had every game up in the 50th minute, and at one point all of my wins were 2-0, so i was just sweating on Aberdeen v Kilmarnock to be a draw

^ I started winning more when i realised that i kept being let down by late last minute goals, it was like a wake up call that made me realise that actually there are quite a few draws, so now i put one in each line i do and it puts the winnings up. The drawback of course is that the result can never be "safe"

And late goals keep costing me, but if i do the draw, it's the draw that gets buggered by the late goal. My own team cost me today, first rule of football betting..

I made up for my football losses by backing a horse called Ellie In The Pink (my girlfriend's called Ellie and she's obsessed with the singer P!nk.. says it all!) - i'd seen it win before at 16/1 and 9/2 and come 2nd at 14/1 so I had to back it today at 6/1.. £10 e-w on it and it only went and won :D
 
Some of them were quite safe in the end, i had

Hearts@8/11 (won 2-0)
Morecambe@17/10 (won 2-2)
Tranmere@10/11 (won2-0)
Hartlepool@10/11(won 3-0)
Aberdeen v Kilmarnock draw@23/10 (2-2)

A few points-
Every game at one satge was 2-0
All bets were up in the 50th minute! (it was excruciating waiting over 40 minutes, especially for the draw!!)

Also, Aberdeen game must have been the latest finisher in Scotland!

It is a massive win for me, i usually put £20 a week on and this season so far i have won well over a grand*(i earn £220 a week)

*That includes a very lucky Ashley Young to score twice against Arsenal, he scored in the last minute with virtually the last kick of the game!

Now i just have to stop myself wasting it on the stupid bets i seem to do more of now, like i usually end up doing a ridiculous first goalscorer if there is a game on tv ( my favourites are Kompany, Milner, Osman and Evra:eek:) I look at the odds sometimes and just go mad! especially if there is a big defender who goes up for corners.

I think i am still affectted by a bet i won once a few years ago when Reading were in the Prem and i had Sonko to score first in a game at 40/1:p

The number of times in the last 12 months I've bet AGAINST Hereford and results like this make me really angry:

Hereford 1-6 Gillingham FT

A classic was 4-0 down away to Northampton, the only team who let me down that day, ended up 4-4.
 
Really fancy taking ManU and Man City both at -2 handicap. 6/1 Manu 4/1 City then maybe Stoke just for a win @ 2/1.

£5 would get me around £520 i think

good effort there. got another 6 way accumulator only got 6/1 odds though. Dabbled into the european games since Arsenal screwed up my acc yesterday :p
 
I never put Arsenal or PSV in accas anymore.

Early this year my dad's mate had 8 teams £1 on won £27k then he had another acca with same teams but included PSV too which would have won £74k who let him down never the less still got £27k but still.:p

Anyone know why Man City's odds have gone up?

£618 for over two goals. I used betfair's cash out service as I had over 1.5goals as well.

If I cashed out now I would have £429.57 of the (£618) + £123.70 regardless if there is another goal in the game.

Believe it or not I'm not sure that there will be any other goals but here's hoping eh!
