Not all that suprising really, no news as theyre STILL being tight lipped about the beta date. At this point its just getting farsical. 12 days of the month left and still no info about it.
 
Very clever, if they show their hands too early and overexpose the masses with media, by the time the game comes out we will all be too overhyped.



GTA IV is a perfect example of being tight-fisted with your outgoing media and reaping positive results.
 
It's not a beta anymore it's a demo. They won't have time to make any changes before it goes to print. So it'll just be like all the other games that have a demo and then it's patched later...

So yeah they are advertising a OPEN beta which really is just a demo with 48 hours early access to the demo if you pre-order, buy another game.

Its been that way since it was announced as being launched in September. Was the exact same thing with BC2. Day 1 should have a pretty hefty patch to say the least.
