Company Name Suggestion

I am helping the girlfriend set up an events company and we are struggling with names. Since the business will be split between general events and weddings, we need two names.

Initially we thought (now scrapped):
Sonal Shah Events / Sonal Shah Weddings
SS Events / SS Weddings

Current Ideas:
Sonal Events / Sonal Weddings
SDS Events / SDS Weddings

Can OcUK offer some serious suggestions?

Is Sonal & Shah a name from each of you? If so, maybe S&S Weddings/Events - different enough that you can probably get away with it while cashing in on free exposure

Sonal Shah is her full name, so it doesn't sound right putting an & in between. Good suggestion though

Having previously had a company with my own name as a part of it, I would steer clear if there is a chance you will ever want to exit selling the business to others or take on partners. Having your name as part of the brand is useful if you are the brand though / you are already well known.

Obviously the most professional name suggested. I agree with the naming, if you plan to sell the business it'll be hard to sell something that is dependant on a family brand.

I wouldnt use her name at all, Id use something more neutral and appealing using words like bliss, heaven, no offence intended but if it has an ethnic ring to it it wont appeal to everyone as too many people judge a book by its cover. Unless of course, you are actually only working with a specific market in which case, ignore me.
