Dale Farm Cleared Tomorrow?

These crusty protestors are really annoying. I'm not so sure they'd be campaining for these people's rights if they'd just set up in their back yard!

i hate the way they think they can live outside the law and expect everyone else to not care

they call themselves travellers but they have permanent homes built?
it's a pity it's taken so long and they've been able to settle this much

i hope it goes as well as can be. the sad thing is they move on and make life hell for another set of people.

Yeah exactly. And they will probably wise up and buy their land next time, and get planning permission which means they will much harder to move on.

Funny how they say the council can't do anything until they go down the legal route of the courts, so they do that, get a result that disagrees with the gypsies opinion, so go to execute the result of that court order, and are treated with threats and resistance. Why even bother going to fight it in the courts if you're going to disregard the results, shows you exactly what this type are like.

If they've got land and planning permission, they shouldn't need moving on though that's the point. I know they're don't have the best reputation, and on the whole aren't the best neighbours. But as long as their legal all should be well. But the point with this case is they ain't got planning permission and aren't getting it anytime soon.

Exactly. However I doubt they have the money to buy a proper bit of land for development. If they did, that's probably what they would have done in the first place.

Instead they bought a piece of greenbelt land which was dirt cheap because you're not allowed to build anything on it.... and built stuff anyway.
