I have the Intel Core i7-2600K 3.40GHz, the Asus Maximus IV Extreme Intel P67 mobo and the Cooler Master Haf X case.

I want to buy a good cpu cooler in order to overclock.

I am between the Corsair Hydro H80 and the Noctua NH-D14 Dual Radiator CPU Cooler.

Which one do you think will give the best results? I am also concerned about noise issues.

Thank you

the NH-D14 is a very good cooler, and afaik it beats the H-80
just make sure, you have compatible ram (ie. low profile), what ram have you?

edit. thanks nerobart for the reminder, the silver arrow is indeed cheaper and just beats the nh-d14

To tell you the truth i am also concerning to get the Corsair Hydro H100. The only problem is whether i can install the radiator in my case.

going by noctua's site http://www.noctua.at/main.php?show=compatibility_ram_gen&products_id=34&lng=en
your ram is fine.
also the stock corsair fans are usually pants, most people buy better/quiter fans, so allow this in the budget as well

The H100 is a great performer. As stated though it is very loud when the fans are running full whack. Even on medium they are what I would describe as intrusive.

I think at the end of the day i will go for the Corsair Hydro100.

My only concern is whether i can fit the radiator in the Haf X case.

Do you know anything about this ?
