Indeed, but you have to hand it to them. Like many companies out there, It works... using twitter, forums and other social media to hype this up with cryptic bits of info around the web. I fell for it and brought the game for 40£ via origin. The marketing strat works, and has done since twitter went big and the interaction with other social media.

I understand why they've done it but it's proper sly. I had no idea the beta was only up for a week or so. They've advertised beta access making people feel special when they really could have just released a demo which actually would have beena lot better for the customer.

They are completely entitled to let you make your own decision whether to spend your money on a product and get early access to a beta that was never promised as anything more than what it is. You could have waited, they did not force you to jump on the bandwagon.

With the 48hr early access it's 14 days, 2 weeks ;)

I'd much rather be going to the USA than playing the same crappy map in the same crappy game mode as the alpha.

You can stay and play the beta, all you have to do is send me your plane tickets and bank account details

well didnt you think even yesterday, hold on im flying to america in 10 days, its coming out sometime this month, odds on i wont be able to play it for very long turns out you cant play it all :D hahaha:D

I would love to stick around in the forums. I actually enjoy reading the posts and also sending them around our office for feedback and sometimes for a laugh or two.
Some of the things that come out of this forum is just brilliant and I really do like the fact that we have a forum.

Right now, I am not in the mood to even browse in here and check out most parts of the forum.

The BETA is a privilege, not a right unless if you pre-ordered the game with MoH and Origin. We are not even obligated to send out a Beta yet we do because we want our players to experience the game. The vibe I´m getting now is just that tons of ungrateful people don´t understand how much work we are putting on this game, how many overtime hours we are doing and also how many meetings we are in to ship a game like this.
It´s not just a click and point type of development.

Would like to thank many of our forum users for returning with constructive and good feedback.

Many of us payed extra to get early beta access, many purchased MOH limited just to play the beta. Perhaps it's different for the open beta members but people like me it's not free and not a bonus.

The biggest problem with this beta is the fact it's Rush again, half the time it's over so damn fast :(

If anyone actually bought MOH LE just for early BF3 BETA access Neil, then more fool them. It was an added offer for early access, where did they ever say it was early beta access on a 64 man jet map?

I seriously CANNOT fathom why everybody is crying over this? The are rig requirements are out and people are upset as they don't know how their PC will cope with a larger map than Metro on rush?

Some peeps seriously need to get a grip. Just wait and see how it runs on what you have? If it cannot cope order some new stuff! The fear of missing out on something whilst you spend half an hour slapping in a new GPU is total madness! It takes 4 hours to build an entire rig!

The new GPU's are out late Q4 with new Intel & AMD chips. Upgrading now is stupid anyway. Just wait.
