I've just realised I didn't have a ******* CLUE what was going on in episode 2.

A rocket going to space, for some reason, a new scientist didn't know who he was what he wanted what he was talking about, these new aliens *spoiler edit* what were they? No I didn't understand it at all.

I can't remember half of it either

All I remember at one point I was in a jeep driving around a forest trying to avoid being killed by a bunch of tripods that look like they'd overdosed on Viagra.

So this is evidence that Episode 3 is still using the Source engine... that's incredibly lame. For all the talk of how modular or adaptable it may be, it's still a dated and ancient engine that hasn't really made any impressive visuals.

Knowing Valve it was probably planned. I thought they were going to do HL3 rather than EP3?

I'll be honest, the path of game/server/ep3/weapon doesn't really imply to me it's anything to do with HL episode 3, that ep3 reference could be entirely internal to dota, without looking ourselves, there could be ep2, ep4 etc.
