Photoshop / Logo question

I have a logo which I drew in Photoshop a few years ago, but I now need to scale it to fit letterheads / business cards. As it is rasterised, it doesn't scale without turning into a big horrible jumble of lines.

Anyone know an easy way of rescaling it or am I doomed to learning how to vectorise graphics?

1300 x 1150, 300 pixels per inch. It was originally a sketch which I scanned and cleaned up, hence the weird sizing.

Edit: I need to make it smaller ideally, but need to keep the edges sharp. It looks bad enough zoomed in, but printed in original form it's not too bad.

You can usually get away with making a rasterised image smaller - although there will still be loss of image quality.

Vectorising it will make it much easier to modify in future.

It's my fault for cleaning it up using such a low DPI :(

Is Photoshop easy enough to vectorise in or am I better looking at something like Inkscape?

Photoshop isn't too difficult, I find it much easier to use than Illustrator, but that's just my personal preference. Never had any experience with Inkscape so I couldn't comment on that.

How complex is the logo? I can have a bash at it if you like. I do need the practice :)

There's several methods for downscaling mate. Some will look much much better than others for different types of graphics.

If you want, I can try and downscale it as best possible? Just send me a message through trust.
