Audi A1 - new car time ?

As I said, I feel that the A1 is definitely overpriced, but there is no denying that it's far better.

Then again, I feel that the Polo, Ibiza and Fabia are also overpriced.

I think the VW and Audi are overpriced, the Ibiza is priced near enough to competition but the Skoda's are pretty competative.

Although I always saw the cars like this:

Skoda - sensible family man purchase
Ibiza - Younger "sportier" purchase
VW - Subtle "reliable" purchase
Audi - Upper class, premium purchase

Well thats my take on it :p

I think it's all horse for courses tbh. They give you one platform in a lot of different flavours which can't be a bad thing tbh.

I know it's not in the same league as the A1 in terms of build quality but if he must buy a small car i'd be VERY tempted by a new shape pre reg Fiesta, should do everything he needs and it's a smart looking car.

is 250+miles a week, in an A1 (which i think look like invalid carriages) would be a good idea? i cant imagine theyre the best for high mileages.

It'll make a nice second hand buy though, although most people that buy these kind of cars don't include any options what so ever.

lol ok I'm not going to spend £20k or whatever on a brand new Focus ! :p

2009 Golf seems the most sensible choice it seems, at about £8k - £10k ?

These self parking systems, whilst flashy, dont really self park if you want to get into a tight spot. You normally need a very big gap for them to work.I'd prefer just a camera on the rear.
