Fail or epic?

Epic fail that is also rather dear for what it is. Being a ROG product it probably has better vrms, though. Hehe, but seriously, the price is partly due to the novelty nature of the product where there is not offset made from economies of scale and consumer demand. Just someone at Asus's Product Design left the 'creativity drugs' lying around again in the open. ;)

Quad Sli GTX590 would out perform the GXT580 X2 by far in performance and price, but with only 10 in the UK and 1000 world wide, it's the thought of having something so rare, that would make me want one.

I guess you fall in to the 'more money than sense' category ;)

I guess I do, but being more realistic in this post.

It is a masterpiece of a graphics card. Come on, you have to admit it. Having two full fledged GF110 cores on one piece of PCB and 3GB of GDDR5 memory is something you think of if you had the money to waste on it.

Realistically, I'd get the normal, world's fastest single core GPU going, the GTX580. But even that is too expensive for most people. The 6950 is the best, budget card for around £200 at the moment.

I'll stick with my 5770 for now.
