Finally I have bought a phone that meets my requirements.

Samsung Wave II, 3.7 inch screen, 1ghz processor, 5MP camera, 720p video recording at 30fps.

As you know it doesn't run android, it runs Bada OS.

Guess how much I got it for? (Brand new)

What's so special about this OS that makes it better than some of the other Droid phones sporting similar price and specs?

The OS is smooth, I've tried it before.

There are a lack of apps only 7000-8000 apps (maybe more now)

Tell me where I can get a new phone that has a 5MP camera and flash, 720p recording and a 1ghz processor for £99.95

Nice enough looks wise:

Galaxy S SoC too so fairly powerful - ripe for an android port

They've already done an android port, most of the stuff works apart from the 3G and any calling features.

So a bit pointless considering a mobile phone can't phone, but they should sort it out soon.

Horrible.

Horrible.

Wait for it...

Horrible.

Sorry. :(

I suppose the price makes it a bit better though.

Have you used one?

Personally I wanted a phone with a good screen, good camera and also cheap.

I don't see how it is horrible, will see when it arrives tomorrow/friday.

I've used the original Wave and didn't really like it. I doubt this is much better, but as I said, for the money it's not so bad.

Don't understand why people want amazing cameras/720p recording on phones with nasty CMOS sensors and lenses.

Spend half as much on a compact that will takes pictures 20x better.

Most people don't lug a camera around with them everywhere they go - makes sense to have the best camera you can on a phone. Not rocket science.

The camera coupled with the screen on the SGSII produces excellent pictures and videos.

That's understandable. But not at the cost of other features or writing off a superior device.
