What a stupidly tidy and well thought out desk and surroundings, you offend me sir.

/jealousy.

You have clearly missed the slice of cardboard hiding the cables :p

I have no idea how I can keep them tidy because I have devices going left right and centre. Plus having an A/V reciever at the bottom makes it 10 times worse with the amount of cables coming out the back of it.

I would actually pay someone to tidy it for me.

sorry OcUK but you don't sell this model so i had to go elsewhere. :p

this arrived yesterday and i can't believe how bloody noisy it is. it has glowing reviews for being one of the fastest and quietest mechanical drives you can buy but the noise when seeking is terrible. compared to my old hitachi drive from purple shirt land, it's exponentially louder. i'm seriously considering returning it. :(

Did you read general F3 reviews or the ones for the 1TB in particular? I have the 2TB one and that's silent just like the WD Blue and Black drives sitting next to it but I have read the 1TB F3s can be noisy.

It reminds me of the olden days when Maxtor used different drive motors and the tell was the pink/white moulding colours on the underside where the motors are.

Back when a 160gb drive was...enormous :p

Had it for a few days now and it's been nothing but a joy, this mouse is not really suitable for palm grippers I would only recommend it to claw/fingertip grippers.

With a little research on the net you will find a lot of positive reviews on this mouse, It is very very very comfy to use for hours and very light, it has rubber grips on either side of the mouse which aids in this :)

You can easily find this for £32 including postage on the net, don't let the price and the fact it's made by a company not really known for their mice put you off it's a top quality mouse, I did a small review over on the rainforest for any of you interested ^^

I have several 1tb F3 and none are loud at all, I recon you have been unlucky and got a duff one :(

lol, I was actually going to ask why you chose that particular drive, seeing as you mentioned you went to a competitor specifically to get it.

Get a WD Caviar Black and be done with it :p
