no most of you trolled for weeks about trying to get a discount code, some were lucky some were not.
Then use a retailer that you have used before to make sure you get the game on release day:confused::confused:
Preload argument:confused:what it will take 10 mins to install disk.

It was a bit of fun, and from memory most of the posts where about how we went about getting the discount code. I can't see a single advantage of buying retail to be honest, hell I don't even have a DVD drive installed these days...

I assume for jets?

No mate, the feeling on grasping my stick and moving it up and down and around is the best feeling ever, especially when i press the button to shoot.

Yeah, for flying vehicles.

been waiting for beta for what seems like ages. Plays football like i do every Thursday night only this week = broken wrist and a cast :(

so annoyed, so have sympathy for me instead of moaning about nonsense at least you get to play the game

I'll be doing my flying with THIS. :D

Although tbh, I've never really flown jets/choppers in any BF game. I always preferred playing as infantry or using land vehicles. Might do a bit more flying in BF3 though.

Complete waste for BF3.
Unless you play Falcon 4.0, LockOn Flaming Cliffs, DCS Blackshark or DCS A10C it's not worth it

Its not as if it will make you good pilot and not as if you will be flying 24/7 on every round of BF3 as you will have others going for that same spot in the jet or heli.

Total waste of wonga.

Was considering this for flying Aircraft

Never really used a Joystick before though, last game i did was Freespace 2 and that wasn't exactly yesterday.

Same mate. I just don't know where to start with them. I assume you can buy one of the cheap ones and they will still be better than K&M?

Also, do you need the throttle control etc that come with the more expensive ones or can you use a combination of Keyboard and Joystick? It would be nice if anyone on here with experience in flying via Joysticks on BC2 could comment.

You actually think I have one just for BF:3? Would anyone be that daft, even on the internet?:D

I do indeed fly the DCS series. In fact, if you check the credits, you'll see my name. ;)

I'm definatly going to have to do more flying in BF3, I think part of the reason I've never gone beyond the mid range ranks in a BF game is that fact that I only even run around playing infantry. Well that and I play for a mere fraction of time most of you lot will.

Say if some one bought just the BF3 game without any DLCs. How much will it cost that person roughly if he later on bought Back to karkand, physical warfare kit, specact and dog tags packs?

Will he also be able to buy play4free items later on?
