Anyone else order this? Have it? Read any reviews on it? Know anything about it?

Ordered mine like 3 weeks ago the eta was 1st sept.. there seems to be a problem with delivery on these and it's back on pre order.
Oc have not said anything to me about it. I submitted a webnote they where also not to helpful with their answer to that.

Ordered the Asus VE278Q as it's on deal but was looking forward to the iiyama as I have been using them over the years and they have been good.

If anyone has any details on the iiyama screen lemme know your thoughts.
 
well, i webnoted them about this monitor they did reply me saying the stock hasnt came in yet, i checked with my friend who works in the comp sales industry and that no one seems to have stock, its more like this batch of monitors either were delayed from japan or hasnt cleared the customs to land in uk just yet. I preordered it and is waiting, there aint much info on it as its a brand new entry from iiyama, i suppose there might be something in japanese on the web but thats beyond my ability to search & read. So just be patient :)

(though little moan on ocuk charging my card straight away on a preorder item that has no firm due date...)
 
Yep. Had a hands on play with this at insomnia43 a few weeks ago which led me to purchase two. Been waiting 'patiently' since September 1st :(

But yes, every store seems to the same so I'm not really going to kick up a fuss. :)

I just got mine yesterday.
Tried it on my ps3 and plugged in a laptop to play movies.
Pretty impressed with the picture quality, the color, sharpness and brightness are just superb, although the menu and functions are kind of badly designed. Another thing is speakers are terrible... maybe i'm too used to stand alone speakers? the built in speakers sound like coming out from a tin. I plugged in a cheapo logitech 2.0 speakers and they sound miles better...
Though i really appreciate the picture quality.

The OP ended up somehow ending up with this monitor and an Asus 27", and I'm considering buying it off of him (irl ***!)

I can't find much info about this at all, but the specs look VERY sexual!
 
Got mine today. Not enough time to say anything. But that thing is big, and I was only coming from a Samsung 24" LCD (non-LED)
