This little fella seems to have taken up residence in my back yard, it appears every morning around 6.30 and spends the day pottering about the yard, before dissapearing into the trees in the evening. Looks like a small hen but im not sure what type.

Couple of not so great pics.

I hope a Cat dosent get it.

Quite the contrary brooms are none to be very predatory snapping up mice, shrews, cats and even some small dogs.

Be very careful when its bristling like that its trying to warn you off before it attacks.

I see you have placed a small chicken next to it to placate it, good move. Now stay indoors and keep children away from it.

***NO BROOM/PATIO GODAWFUL JOKES HERE - PROPER HELP!***

The missus has had a look and said she thinks it's a "Fancy Pigeon" so it definitely needs corn.

If you can get hold of it, it should have a ring on it's leg and you will hopefully be able to get in contact with someone to collect it.

There is someone on here who deals with racing Pigeons, I don't know if they will be able to help or not...
