My HIS 6950 1GB can support 1920x1050 but I don't know if LG Flatron W2234S can support 1920x1050 as my CCC says "maximum resolution supported" with my monitor is 1920x1050. But I can't seem to set my resolution as 1920x1050

1680*1050
OR
1920*1080

1920*1050 is not a standard resolution.;)

I'd go 2560x1440 if your budget allows, This will get the most use out of your Xfire 6950's if you go that route, If you go 1920x1080/1200 then 1 6950 is more than sufficient.

I would presume 1gb wouldn't be enough for that resolution, a pair of 2gb 6950's would be more suited.

I'm no expert on this by the way, its just the general feeling I've picked up around the forums that for most a 1gb card would cap out past 1080/1200p
