not on about beta on about exlusive content which ps3 gets first a week before us .

DLC isn't the game, it's DLC. Sony will have done a deal (probably involving a fair bit of money!) to get the DLC a week early on PS3, the fact that 1 platform gets DLC a week before the others doesn't affect anything else about the game, it's very simple... ;)

Interestingly, 53 percent of BC2 sales went to the Xbox 360 version, followed by 31 percent and 16 percent of sales for the PS3 and PC, respectively.

I've seen those numbers before and IIRC they don't include PC downloads, just retail disc sales.

is it also very simple that as we speak there are more people playing on ps3 online than pc at this very second ;) more sales more people online . consoles are the target audience

84 percent of twenty million so how many does that leave pc ?

then work pout the total of possible dlcs even if 1 per game not even close gg :D

go check online stats of people online now as we speak that what i did and more were on ps3 online that any other format. pc was close but ps3 was the winner .

you cater for the masses not the other way round.

The target audience for marketing doesn't affect how the game has been developed either ;) Yes, consoles are the target audience for marketing, that's pretty obvious as that's the market they will gain the most new customers from with new players entering the battlefield franchise for the first time.

Basic marketing - make sure you're targeting the right people, the Jay-Z TV advert shows that. It's not meant for PC gamers who have played BF2 etc, it's made to lure in the typical console players. Battlefield is already established on PC (BF2, 1942 etc) but on consoles BC2 always played second fiddle to other FPS games, they want more of that market (as they should).

However, PC is still the lead platform. ;)

It sure looks like there are more PS3 players online right now...

Dg talking out of his **** again.

I'm not even entirely sure what it's trying to prove...

I want BF3 to be successful as they're really pushing technology just like id are.

Mo' money, mo' features.
