6870 vs GTX 460 (Nvidia wins this)

just checked it on anandtech on 460 vs 6870, they seem pretty even to me, sometimes amd beats nvidia and vice versa so iunno waht youre on about...

edit - actually on second look, the 6870 is just a tad better

Im just deciding that I shouldnt go with a 6870. Im looking for reasons I shouldnt go with it.

If you must I'll give you one :D

IF you can find a GTX460 1GB for £100 or less, you'll be saving £30. Granted it will be a tad bit slower than 6870, but in the future if you are upgrading again, you can retired the GTX460 to become a PhysX card (though I'm not saying PhysX use commonly in games, but in games that DOES use it, it does somewhat improve the experience), whereas the 6870 on the other hand, you only got the choice of sell it, or let it sit around on a shelf to collect dust :p

Good reason, although i doubt it find a 480 for £100.

The 460 is off the list. Not a good performer against the 6870
