Royal fail - again...

I’ve had one thing which never arrived by RM and that was a phone which had been signed for by a mystery person.

I received a letter TODAY from the lovely Tax Office to review and confirm details by the 31/07/2011.

Well played Royal Fail!!!

To be fair, I really wouldn't know where to lay the blame between the Royal Mail and the Tax Office. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the letter were dated in September.

Local postal service is pretty good.

If it doesn't fit in the letter box, they ring the bell, if you ain't there, they leave a paper saying they tried to deliver mail and that they will be coming the next day. If you ain't home, they will leave it at the post office closest to your house and you have to present the slip of paper they post to redeem it.

So much better.

We aim to please... Well, no we don't actually.

Ive never had a problem with RM or any other delivery company leaving stuff on my door step or any where in my property - that was until i got my Kindle, they left it in the little alcove on my house. Maybe RM have orders to leave Kindles if no one is there to receive it?

This was the case with BT Routers and the like. Originally managers got a bit shirty when we bought them back, I'm not sure what the rule is now.

Which is exactly what they are supposed to do.

Complain to Royal Mail. Let them know of the problem, they will sort it.

That's not the most annoying thing they do...

I posted an i7 860 to someone on these forums about a week ago, and it still hasn't arrived...

I didn't think they were allowed to just leave stuff outside the house? If I'm not in my RM deliveries go to the local post office. Sounds like a strongly worded letter is in order
