Sheffield General Cemetery

I was scared as a child walking through a cemetery in the Gower (Oxwich Bay to be exact) it has a really old church on a cliff, with a graveyard and is surrounded by a forest. Awful being a child there, it's even dark in the sunshine. Eerie.

Whereas now the ghouls are more scared of you than vice versa :D.

I've never dared go back :o

Despite being 6"6, built and looking like some sort of cave dwelling monster, that place scares me.

St Georges Church, a lecture theatre just outside the engineering department at Sheffield uni, has a small graveyard near it and students wouldn't think twice about wandering around it or having picnics on it...

You should look up the definition of desecrate, then ;)

I know exactly what it means. And if you had actually known what the word means rather than hastily scrabbling to find a definition just to nitpick, you would realise that I am in fact, correct.

It means to violate something. Yes, it can also include acts of violence. But I obviously wasn't alluding to that. "Violent disrespect" as you put it.

Violate:

3. Treat (something sacred) with irreverence or disrespect

;)
