Not really, you should never pull out unless you know it is safe to do so. Just because the person is indicating it doesn't mean they will actually make the turn.

That's a bit of a joke the second time. Did you perform an E.Stop straight away or did the examiner do it?
My cousin's an examiner. They don't have hard quota's but they do have soft targets. They tend to be stricter when the centre's approaching their target for the month.
Still I'd say your cousin was lying, say they made their "cap" on passes that month and then they examine someone who does the perfect drive, what they'll fail because of a target? totally don't believe it.

Any tips on how to keep it cool on a test? I'm naturally a fairly confident/relaxed driver and am pretty cautious (but not overly!), but yet on my test I was a nervous wreck and semi-panicked every time he asked me to do something! It annoys me as he probably sensed I wasn't relaxed.
