Would my system run FSX

What about crysis and COD too, will it do that on high?

From everything I have read about FSX, you could have the most amazing rig currently available you are still going to to struggle.

it needs serious tweaking on each PC and has quite a few issues.

Search for it on here and you'll find a link to a dedicated forum for it where they help set up rigs to play it.

Mine defaults to "Ultra High" with my spec in sig, so the OP should get reasonable results with his.

Tweaking tweaking & more tweaking is the key.

I have just bought a i2500k and 8 gig mem and I can run it on Ultrahigh settings using FTX Tasmania addon. (recommended just so see what and addon can do).

I only have a crappy 4870 so I'm not even going to attempt heathrow on ultrahigh lol

However flying from small airfield it looks stunning.

i'm going to get a new gfx card and then start seriously getting into FSX again...
