Yes I know, DICE are about the worst around for patching their games. But with every release I have hope they will adopt more of a relentless MMO style of patching -- never going to happen of course -- but of all the delusions to hold in the world it isn't the worst

First thing I am changing is the motion blur to "OFF"!!! Find motion blur irritating at the best of times.

No idea sorry guys. One of the annoyances I've noticed is unless the server has 8 or more players on it then you're "locked" into place on the map and you can't move only look around.
I'm not sure if that's a server side setting or something just for the Beta but it's annoying as anything.

This game looks mediocre, are there any high resolution screenshots to prove that it is not mediocre?. I'm aware the mp gameplay is great for the bf fans but from what i have seen so far from the beta video/graphics settings screens the actual in-game shots don't reflect what the settings suggest?.

Because they won't come out until 1pm?
The people that have access already have obtained keys generally from preordering servers.
The mass public in the UK will not get their keys until 12pm GMT. And as we're still in British Summer Time, you've got another half an hour to wait.
