1. LOVE IT

2. Southerner

3. 8

4. Theres nothing better than a cup of tea and loads of toast with marmite to soothe a sore head in the morning

1. LOVE it, could eat it on pretty much anything savoury if forced too!
2. Southerner
3. Early teens I'd expect
4. Love strong tastes, i.e. strong cheeses, this fits in nicely.

I think this whole love it or hate it thing is balls.

I don't love it, I like it a bit. I can't eat loads of it, but I do like having little squirt on my finger every few mins.

It's just too strong. OH and Bovril is similar, it's still Yeast extract, just with a beefy taste.

1. I like it.
2. Deep Northener.
3. Umm 16?
4. It's too strong, but tastes nice.

What's Bovril got to do with anything, other than the fact that it comes in a similar shaped jar?

Surely you jest! Bovril on toast is the best!

As for Marmite

1-Hate it
2-Northern Ireland but live in Scotland
3- no idea
4-Manky compared to bovril

1. Meh about but if someone made me Marmite on toast I would happily eat :)

2. West Country

3. Child

4. Tastes... not bland? haha

the stuff is rancid.
south.
young kid and had a bit of toast recently with it on to see if my tastes had changed.
reminds me of when you have to clean the extractor fan filter above the hob. smells, tastes and looks almost identical to the greasy slimey cack that comes off.

One is a yeast extract spread, the other is a meat extract used primarily as a drink. Why do people always compare them to each other?

Because they are both spread on toast.
I very much doubt in this day and age that bovril is used as a drink.
On toast and as a easy stock/flavouring I would expect to far outrank drink.
