Can you increase the download speed of Origin? It seems capped at around 60kb/s.![]()
Same here, in the alpha as well i tried to play it like bfbc2, changed to how i approach moh, very careful movement and use of cover. After a couple of games I adjusted and stopped trying to play it like BFBC2 rushing around like a n00b the difference was immense. Taking cover and working as a team to provide suppressing fire and bunny hop each other towards the enemy works!
Pilots are gonna love the fact that the engineer gets the stinger relatively quickly in this at least, 7000 score total for it to unlock and im at 5400 ish after a couple of rounds.
Be useless though untill caspian hopefully rolls around.
CheersWhy don't you worry about your oc when it's not going to stress you out?
Either way, quick checklist for you:
* Completely reinstall windows and drivers. Ensure it's not a software problem.
* Remove all the extra hard drives and other bits to ensure it's not a compatibility problem.
* Try overclocking just the graphics card and nothing else.
* Try underclocking the graphics card. Same result? Probably some weird overclock protection.
etc
So Gerard how did you find Ultra setting on your rig?
Did you notice any difference graphically going from Low to Ultra, cause I didn't lol
I was getting 1.5MB down (fast as I can get), and I saw earlier on in the thread people were getting more than that.
Impressions after 1 hour of play:
* Web interface rocks, though obviously servers are overwhelmed atm.
* In game settings changing is super annoying. Let us do it through the web interface ala Quake Live.
* Game feels like BFBC2 in hardcore more (a bad thing in my book).
* Hit reg feels extremely dodgy but possibly just down to the server I was on or lack of experience with the game.
* Destructible terrain is nerfed to hell and not back. Massive shame.
This will no doubt change somewhat after enough time to get into it properly but it kind of sums up my first impressions in the hour I played before going to the pub.
