If i swapped my 5850 for 2x6950 would the HX750 cope ok or would i be pushing it.

on a side note which 6950's should i be looking at, i like the look of the twin fozzy 3 but the flex also looks pretty good. would the fozzy 3 be cooler than the flex?
I would think the TwinFrozR III would be the cooler running.
The Flex is a good card for Eyefinity as you can run three DVI monitors from it without DisplayPort adapters.
The Sapphire TOXIC is probably the only HD 6950 available now with a decent chance of unlocking the extra shaders.

Unlocking the shaders isn't really my thing TBH, i would consider it too much risk for the increase you'd get i also consider 6970's too exspensive for the extra performance so i feel 6950 is a good mid ground to stand on.
There is no risk with the toxic, it comes with the unlocked bios.
Increase from shaders can vary from 6-10% which is the same sort of performance difference you get between the 6970 and the 580.
I'm not advocating to get the toxic, just pointing out that it comes pre-flashed with the unlocked shaders which do add performance if it works and it overclocks like a champ.
