i had my legs waxed when i was about 20 (gay uni idiot rugby things) and they have never really recovered. Im not that hairy but my legs freakishly pretty smooth still which is nice cos they don't chafe my suspenders now
 
Mine's not really hairy enough to be a hairy chest, so I whip the sporadic hairs off when I'm shaving my head.

Even with the above, I've never once been bummed.
 
I've got a mangroomer, do my back every few weeks, takes about 2 minutes and no itchiness.

The itch is definitely the worst part but I was well chuffed to fine this doesn't itch at all. I've got a pretty hairy chest but I reckon you can get away with a well hairy chest easier than you can just a slightly hairy back.
 
I have a completely hairy front, entire chest and stomach are covered but none on my back or shoulders which is strange, my girlfriend loves it but I don't half malt a lot.
